In our apartment, there is a smart home system, including heating control via an app (we have underfloor heating). However, this system doesn’t work at all. It’s impossible to set the floor to the desired temperature, and after the latest app update, we can't even turn the heating on properly — the floor heats up for only 15 minutes and then turns off. Last winter, it was unbearably cold in the apartment. This might be acceptable for Europe, but I expect my home to be warm and cozy, not a place where I’m constantly freezing.

Great product! Works out of the box, easy to install, easy to configure.
And for techies like me, the openness is a great feature: with some python knowledge you can write your own plugin to integrate with just about any other device in your home/building!

I've been a customer for several years now and very pleased with the system and their support. The system still has an opportunity to grow in user interfacing and apps, while the underlying tech is rock solid ...

het is een goed systeem maar soms onhandig in programmeren.
Als er zich een fout optreed weet je meestal weinig info over die fout.
Als je meerdere systemen moet maken kan je de files niet kopiëren naar de andere omdat het volledig Cloud based is.

Het is een goed product dat nog in de beginfase staat. Moest er een lokaal programma gemaakt worden waarin je je files kunt opslaan en hergebruiken wordt dit een top product.

Top dat er zeer veel functies zijn en opensource is.

Used it for many years now and never had any issues. Was easy to integrate with other system like the alarm system, multiroom speakers, automatic curtains, ventilation and others. The energy management system I have added recently even makes it even more awesome and usefull

Verduistering gaat meerdere malen per dag vanzelf naar beneden en omhoog, zogezegd omdat het zelf weet wanneer er wolken zijn.... Openmotics claimt dat het manueel overrulen zou moeten vermijden dat de verduistering die dag nog automatisch naar beneden of omhoog gaat. Dat is niet waar. En daarbovenop begint het de volgende dag weer opnieuw. Meerdere malen klantendienst gebeld. Blijft een probleem. Ook al eens om half 6 in de morgen vanzelf verduistering in slaapkamer naar omhoog. En dan die avond om half 12 gaat de verduistering vanzelf nog eens naar boven. Kortom super frustrerend dat die technologie ons op zo'n manier beheerst. Ik zou willen dat er helemaal niets automatisch aan is.

Heel gemakkelijk te installeren en vlot zelf aan te passen, ja zelfs voor mij als niet handige Harry zijnde 😉
Gebruik via smartphone ook gemakkelijk, alsook de vloerverwarming zones. Volledig overtuigd. Bedankt
